What happened with the Republican party and a pizzeria?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: pizzeria

I was on vacation so I missed that story, and I’m having trouble finding any articles on it now. What happened?
Can I get a real answer please?

Three prominent GOP leaders kicked off a campaign Saturday to reshape their party’s image, gathering at a restaurant in northern Virginia for the first of a series of town hall meetings.
The venue — a packed pizzeria in an Arlington strip mall — had the feel of a small-town campaign stop Saturday morning, with a supportive crowd tossing friendly questions at the panel. But outside the front doors of the establishment were reminders of the challenges facing the party.

The parking lot out front, even with the heavily Republican crowd inside, was dotted with Obama bumper stickers. Northern Virginia has shifted solidly Democratic in recent elections, and surrogates for John McCain’s campaign made statements late in the race that acknowledged the party had all but conceded the area.

Just started my own pizzeria! How many pizza should I sell to consider my business successful?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: pizzeria

I started my business and its going pretty well but was hoping to get some input from previous or current pizza shop owners on how many pizza I should be selling. I guess I want to make sure I maximize our effort to try to get more customers. My shop is not a franchise. I appreciate your help. Thanks
I should have listed Per day! How many of pizzas per day is normal for a pizza business! Thanks

What you need is this….

Where are you going to set up your place.
One thing in the restaurant business on
something like this is: "Location, Location, location"

If there are a lot of other pizza places in your area,
you are going to have a tough sell with ALREADY
established places in the area.

You will need money to get a restaurant going. It is tough in
these times…

You will need to come up with good tasting pizzas.
A catchy name for your place. Also, these days some
people will want their pizza delivered. Check into this.

Advertising your new business is a plus to get it noticed.

Also, you might want to check with a financial adviser at
your local bank, about if this is a good idea and
where you are having your pizzeria located and what is needed.

How can I start a pizzeria?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: pizzeria

I just made my own pizza from scratch and it was the best I’ve ever had. I have the recipe, so I know I can do it again. How can I start up a pizza parlor that will show the world how pizza really ought to be, instead of what those goofs in New York and Chicago serve up?

You definitely need to put together a business plan to secure financing. I wouldn’t go out and rent a building tomorrow but that’s info you’ll need to include in your plan. Here are some helpful sites to check out:

What pizzeria has the best pie in Chicago?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: pizzeria

Give an answer for both Chicago Deep Dish (stuffed) and Chicago-style thin or double dough.

Rosatis? Giordanos? Aurelios? Home Run Inn? Ginos East? Lou Malnatis? Unos? Nancys? Connies?

Giordano’s for deep dish. The cheese is perfectly stringy, and the crust is buttery and soft. Which is all nicely accentuated by the slightly sweet sauce. Absolutely perfect.

For thin, I’d say Home Run Inn or one you didn’t mention – Crust.

Their off-beat toppings make them a standout – that and they brew their beer in-house.

I want to open a pizzeria, where do I start??

Posted by: admin  /  Category: pizzeria

I have a location, I have owned business’s in the past but never a restaurant? Where is the best place to begin. I have been searching online for dough companies as well as sauce, cheese, coffee. With so many out there how do you decide. Is there a book with step by step on how to operate a pizza parlor?

What is you specialty?
First learn to make a great pizza. One that people love and are willing to go out of their way to buy. My uncle opened a shop across from a woolen mill. He did a good job, but on the nights my grandmother worked it she did a lot more business. She put more toppings on them and customers appreciated it. They did a better business and made up for the extra cost in extra business.
I would visit pizza parlors and try their pizzas (you will have to change your on line name to FatBoy) What do you like, what do you not like. Then you need to get people to show up. you are not going to get a great business if you through together a pizza from Internet supplies. you might as well have a bunch of frozen pizzas sent in.
If you have room you might want to make it a nice place to hang out. Maybe even an Internet cafe. Is there a local college that would become a source of customers. What about coming up with healthy food choices?
Cater to you customers. I go to a restaurant and ask for a beer I drink. It is not hard to get, but only one place I go gets it for me. I go there more often and when I go to the others, I order water. They loose a $5 sale on a $1 beer. One case of beer $20 and they sell it for $120… is it worth it for the manager to put one in the cooler for a regular customer?
Good luck

Does anybody know the name of the very first pizzeria in Napoli, Italy?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: pizzeria

I went there abt 11 years ago. It has the name "Lombardia" in it and it was the pizzeria that created the famous "Margherita" after Queen Margherita. It is located right in the middle of Napoli and once you eat a pizza there no pizza anywhere else in the world will ever taste the same.

Modern pizza is attributed to baker Raffaele Esposito of Naples in the Italian region of Campania. In 1879 Esposito, working in the pizzeria "Pietro… e basta così" (literally "Peter… and that’s enough", established in 1890 and still operating under the name "Pizzeria Brandi"), baked three different pizze”[4]. for the visit of King Umberto I and Queen Margherita of Savoy. The Queen’s favorite was a pizza evoking the colors of the Italian flag – green (basil leaves), white (mozzarella), and red (tomatoes). This combination, named Pizza Margherita in her honor, set the standard by which today’s pizza evolved[4].

What can solve a problem dealing with recording an order at a pizzeria?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: pizzeria

Two solutions I have come up with is:
1. A spreadsheet with checkboxes
2. A point of sales with touchscreen

They are both fine solutions. Depending on what your budget allows, go with the point of sale. You will be able to keep better track of info, including a database of your most used products so that you can purchase accordingly.

Best of luck.

Please answer my question about what a pizzeria does and a barista?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: pizzeria

I have to answer this question about what a barista does and what a person working at a pizzeria would do? please help me if you know anyone or you yourself have ever had a job like this. please write everything you know it would be really helpful.

thanks in advance.

a barista is what they call people who prepare drinks at starbucks, and could apply to others who mix drinks but are not bar tenders. in addition to preparing drinks and heating and/or serving whatever food they might have a barista would also be responsible for keeping the place clean during their shift and at the end of the day

a pizzeria is a restaurant that serves pizza, and may serve other kinds of italian food. what you would do would depend on where in the pizzeria you worked. you could be someone who greets customers, takes them to their seats, and handles payment when they are done. you could be a waiter or waitress who brings customers their food and drinks, and probably helps clear tables to prepare for the next customer. you could be a bus boy who clears tables and helps prepare for the next customer and may also wash dishes. you could work in the kitchen preparing pizzas and whatever italian food is on the menu

How many calories are in a extra large slice of mushroom pizzeria pizza?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: pizzeria

Regular crust and all.

There is no way for us to tell you this. It depends on:

- the type of sauce used
- the type of cheese used
- other toppings
- the amount of cheese/sauce/toppings on it
- how thick the crust is and what kind of flour (specifically) they used
- did they use oil in the crust or not? There’s no such thing as a "regular crust," since most pizzerias make their own and it’s not always the same.
- specifically, how large the slice is

It could be anywhere from a few hundred to 1000 for all we know.

Does anybody know how many calories are in the tuna pita from Buddy’s Restaurant Pizzeria?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: pizzeria

I want to order the half tuna pita from there but I would like to know how many calories are in that if possible. Thanks!

It is mandatory for all restaurants to provide you the Calories of each Sandwich or meal. When you go to the Restaurant it should state exactly how many Calories. I do not think there are many Calories in this sandwich. I would like one right now…
