What did you think of it?

I haven’t been but it sounds good!

Ive eaten at the original Pizzaria Uno’s in Chicago. It was the BEST pizza I have ever tasted. When an Uno’s opened near me recently (An obvious chain copy of the original) the zaa tasted like dung. Well thats not fair. It was alright, but not the same as the one at the original. ANd for the same price it was almost 1/2 the size.

As a former franchisee, I can say that there is a ton of pressure from the franchisee owners on the franchisor to keep costs low. When you have to pay 6-10% of your sales every week, you do not want to give up anything. Therefore, the franchisor must create a menu and portion structure that will appeal to new franchisees.

I can say that when the original owner went to a company to start selling his franchise, they went in and made a lot of changes. Some good, some not so good.

Stick with the independents. They are the ones that truly care about their food and their customers.

How do restaurants like Chili’s & Applebee’s decorate their places with all of the local memorabilia? Are all of the pictures, fire helmets and athletic equpment authentic? I mean actually from some local person’s attic. (example: a football helmet from the local high school) or is the stuff just "mock ups" with fictitious high school mascots and colors to match the towns where the restaurant is located?

Most are reproductions but have known some places allow staff to "loan" their own memorabilia for display..=)

I’m inviting 16 girls, and I know we are going to go to a Mexican restaurant or pizzaria, but what else can we do? I don’t want to spend more that $100 after the food. Oh, and please don’t say a limo cause that’s too expensive.

Just pizza and peperoni…don’t like much else

I just got offered a job at a pizzaria and at home depot as a lot associate. But I can only work at one though. Which is better? The pizzaria is 2 miles from my house and home depot is 9 miles away. Home depot will pay 8.25 an hour and the pizzaria will pay 10 an hour plus tips…I am also a felon so its been hard to find a job…I need advise!

Does the job at Home Depot come with benefits like health insurance? If so, that might be better than the lower pay. Also, how long are you planning to stay there? Might be more room for advancement if you do a good job at Home Depot. Just depends if you want a job to make more money or maybe one that is more stable, etc.

what exactly are you buying? thats like buying a laundromat with no machines or pizzaria with no equipment.

With the liquor store, you are actually buying the liquor license also. In some states and locations, it could be worth in the hundreds of thousands. There is always more than meets the eye.

To a point yes. but many of them are offered help and dont want it. I know of a woman who saw a homeless man with a sign and she went to a pizzaria and bought him a large pizza. She gave him the pizza told him its all for him because she doesnt want him to go hungry.

He takes the pizza and threw it in the trash. He wanted booze.

that my friend was an isolated incident. Most of them just want to eat. I do feel sorry for them and did u know alcoholism is an addiction. So can u blame the man?

A now defunct Canadian pizzaria once advertised that they had added meatballs as a topping choice for their pizza.

Just curious to know if anyone out there would try meatballs on their pizza. Because I don’t know of anyone who has.
I remember them being little meatballs.

So delicious; they are mini meatballs placed atop your pizza with sauce poured on top with melted cheese piled high.

I had it one time with green bell pepper slices and goat cheese too it was sooooooooooooooo good.
