Flavored pizza doughs
Categories: Pizza
Yield: 6 servings
4 ounce Prosciutto, cut into 1/4 inch dice, or 4 ounces fresh sausage
Meat, removed from casings and crumbled
Cheese Dough:
¼ cup Freshly grated Provolone, caciocavallo, Parmesan, or Romano cheese
Onion Dough:
1 small Sweet onion, peeled, minced, and cooked until translucent in 1

"Different flavorings can be kneaded into basic pizza dough for some delicious variations. Prepare the dough as usual, letting it double in bulk; punch it down and knead in the flavoring of your choice until it is well distributed. Refrigerate the dough for 15 to 20 minutes before stretching or rolling it out or let it go through another rising before shaping it. Note: Sometime flavored doughs become sticky after the additional ingredients have been kneaded in. If this happens, simply knead in a small amount of flour until the dough is smooth and no longer sticks." Prosciutto or Sausage Dough: teaspoon olive oil, or 1/4 cup finely chopped white part of scallions Herb Dough 1 teaspoon dried thyme, crumbled dried sage, or dried rosemary, or 1 to 2 Tbsp fresh marjoram, fresh mint, fresh oregano, fresh sage, fresh thyme, fresh rosemary, fresh parsley leaves, fresh chives, or fresh basil (separately or in combination of 2 herbs) Source: The Pizza Book by Evelyne Sloman Posted by Linda Davis

Fast and simple Pizza recipes – got any?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: pizza recipes

I like to cook, so you guys and gals got any good recipes to make pizza from scratch?

well I like to take my dough and bake it for about 10 minutes untill it is a little bit crispy then I put on my pizza sauce. I then take a already cooked rotisseri chicken from the store and shred it up and put it on top. I also like to add pepperoni’s or canadian bacon to it as well. I think top it with a mix of monzerella cheese and monterey jack. Then bake untill cheese is melted and starting to turn golden

Any REALLY good pizza recipes? I already have the dough recipe.?

I just need a recipe for the sauce and the cheese.

I LOVE really cheesy pizza, if that helps.

Are there any other ways I can use thin crust pizza dough without actually making a pizza? Breadsticks or some sugary topping?

You could make a Calzone, just roll out the pizza dough, put toppings, lots of cheese, and pizza sauce on half of the dough, then fold it over and press down the edges with a fork. To make pizza sauce you can take tomato paste and add italian seasonings.

my 13 year old son wants to make his own pizza so Anyone know how to throw some dough?

1 cup warm water
1 package active, dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
1 TBS sugar
2 TBS extra virgin olive oil
approx 4 cups flour (unbleached and/or whole wheat)
2 tsp salt

Let the yeast dissolve in the water, evoo, sugar and salt until foamy (about five minutes). Add the flour until the dough forms a stiff ball on your dough hook. The dough should be slightly sticky, but firm. This takes about 5 minutes on medium on a Kitchen Aid. Coat with EVOO and cover loosely in a warm place until doubled in size (about 90 minutes). Punch down and let re-rise until doubled. Spread on your pizza pan and coat with evoo. Top with sauce, cheese and toppings. Cook at 450 for about 12 minutes.

Hey, I babysit three boys over the summer, and I want to make a pizza with them. I will buy prepared sauce, and dough. It will be a regular cheese pizza. I just need recipes though, like how long to bake the pizza, season the crust, and what to bake it out.

Also, is it ok to make it on a cookie sheet because they don’t and I don’t own a pizza tray?

Thanks in advance! :-)
Could you suggest other toppings besides peperoni?

add some cheddar cheese to the pizza and some ground beef and bacon and you have bacon cheeseburger pizza kids go nuts over ther stuff

Guys, It’s not dip to dip pizza in, it’s pizza dip that you dip chips in! The dip has like cheese and pizza sauce and what not, it’s really good.

You can try http://www.cookery-online.com , is a good recipes website, updated daily.
